About Me

My name is Lucy. I have lived and worked in sunny San Diego since 1997.

I grew up in the 1970s and 80s in a remote area of China about 200 miles south of Beijing. I became the first woman in my family to go to college, and the first woman in my county to go to Beijing University, one of China’s top universities, where I studied chemistry.
